Norman Wisdom… Vincent’s Tribute…

7 Oct

“On The Beat” remains one of the greatest comedy films ever made.

Yet Norman became “unfashionable” during his later years.

Talent NEVER goes out of fashion, and Our Norm had it in spades.

Many of today’s “superstars” barely have ONE talent. In Norman’s day you needed several just to be called a star.

Norman could act – straight or comedy.
And dance – again, both.

He sang like an angel.

He composed many of his hits.

He could play most instruments.

He was an incredible physical comic.

And he was a natural comic genius.

I only just heard he’d gone. I was GLAD – because now he’s at REST. One of the great sadnesses of The Business is that he survived to 95 – because he succumbed to Alzheimers at 90. R.I.P. Norm.
