Nobody gets the whole picture so…

17 Oct

I had occasion to reconnect with a niece (who is about 50 years old) who responded to my very recent Post

about the bt mess-up:

This is so typical of big organisations where each department does one bit of the job and nobody gets the whole picture.

It’s about people doing their job, but not doing it, because the end result is wrong.

I don’t trust anyone any more to get things right.  I always have to have a handle on anything I order or get someone else to do until I know it’s right.

The trouble is if it goes wrong you often find that there was nothing you could have done to prevent it anyway.

As for me, I have complained to bt but who knows where this thing will end.
